Head downstairs in Horselord Mineon Frenouran's home, and convince Mineon to allow his daughter to choose the prince she is to marry.

Return to Azzah once Mineon is convinced.

Quest Offering

Azzah says, "He may have his strategic decisions to consider with this marriage."

She looks out her window for a long moment. "Perhaps I shall show my father just how stubborn and cunning I can be. Convince him to allow me to pick my husband from the three princes of the south, and I shall marry him."

"Perhaps he will learn a thing or two from his daughter for a change," she flashes a smile rivaled only by Kaerellun.

Horselord Mineon Frenouran

“Horselord,” you begin. “She is willing to marry.”

Horselord Mineon Frenouran thanks the gods and asks, “How did you manage it?”

You say, “Through a compromise, I’m afraid.”

“Compromise?” questions Mineon. “What compromise did you make?”

“Your daughter is a very intelligent young woman, Horselord, so understand that when I say she has a plan, she has thought it through. She asked that she be allowed to choose her husband of the three bandit princes.”

Mineon shakes his head. “Nonsense, the Morduma are the strongest tribe. We shall ally with them. The other princes are to be assassinated upon the decision of my daughter’s husband.”

It is your turn to shake your head now. “That would be unwise, Horselord. Consider that the Morduma are unprepared for such a surprise, and may interpret it as an attack on them as well.”

“Also,” you continue, “the other tribes will not arrive without bodyguards, and likely a force of raiders incase of betrayal.”

Horselord Mineon Frenouran considers these words briefly. “It is a possibility, and to bring a large entourage of horsemen would only put them on edge, the assassinations may fail. I knew I should have hired those dark elves.

“Too late for dark elf assassins, Horselord. Trust that your daughter’s love would never betray her own father,” you explain.

Mineon nods. “Do you know what her plan is?”

You say, “She mentioned something about toppling bandit kings by toying with their hearts. I assume that whatever plan she has constructed it will be as effective as it is unseen.”

Horselord Mineon Frenouran chuckles with glee. “So she does have a mind for politics after all. And here I thought she would never leave the saddle. Ah, this is a proud moment for a proud father.

You say, “So she has your blessing to proceed with her plan?”

Mineon smiles and says, “I sought to give my daughter her own life, and now it seems she has done just that, and galloped off like a swift mare. Nothing will stop her now.” He chuckles again. “I shall take joy in watching her.”

Quest Completion

Azzah smiles, “Well done, Leadariel, you manipulated him about as well as I ever have.”

“Now that I’m in charge of the important decision making, we’ll see if I can’t topple a few bandit kings by toying with their hearts.”
