ViewsA Disagreeable ArrangementFrom TactWikiOverview
Game Description
Head upstairs in Horselord Mineon Frenouran's Home, and speak to his daughter about the importance of her diplomatic marriage to the prince of a neighboring tribe. WalkthroughDialogueQuest OfferingMineon sighs. "All the gold and horses cannut buy my daughter happiness, and now she will not speak to me because of my arranged marriage for her. She's upstairs brooding." Mineon continues, "If she only understood my position and what she could accomplish for our people through a diplomatic marriage..." "Certainly you understand the importance of an alliance with our neighboring tribes. Will you speak with Azzah and convince her of the importance this marriage holds?" Azzah FrenouranYou say, “Azzah, your father asked me to speak to you.” Azzah Frenouran casually replies, “You can leave, I’m not marrying anyone.” “At least hear me out, as someone who is not you or your father, I have a unique perspective on this issue,” you offer. “I said I’m not getting married,” she repeats. You attempt to calm her, “What is so bad about this marriage?” Azzah Frenouran laughs. “He’d sell me off like some peace tribute to the Morduma. That’s what’s wrong with it.” “You aren’t being married to the entire tribe of Morduma... are you?” you ask. “Of course not. They’re just blood thirsty murderers. Who knows what will be done to me,” she states. You say, “I imagine that you would be treated like a princess, as you are to be married to a prince. The Morduma do not treat their women any different than your tribe. They may even treat them better.” “Better?” she questions. “Maybe, but what of my home and my people? I’ll have to live with strangers, and a strange husband. “Think of your people, Azzah. Your marriage could ease tensions between the Morduma and the Varanthari. You would save many lives and bring fortune to both people with this alliance,” you point out. She sighs, visibly rattled. “It isn’t just the Morduma, there are other tribes, other princes. Which am I to be bought by? How will the others react to an alliance between two of their rivals? I may cause a war, not prevent one.” You say, “I wasn’t aware of the other princes. That certainly complicates matters.” Azzah Fenouran says, “Great help you’ve been, now I’m angry and sad.” “I’ll discuss things with your father. I’m sure he has an idea of who would be best to ally with,” you say.
Quest CompletionAzzah frowns and sighs, "Perhaps this is for the best." "But, I have a few demands of my father as well." ParleysAzzah
