Game DescriptionDeliver Olmad's message of peace to Horselord Tarqar.
WalkthroughTravel to Lomshir and Convince Horselord Tarqar about "A Message". Hail him again for your reward. DialogueQuest OfferingOlmad looks up at you. His face is pale and drawn and his lips bloodless. "I... thank you for speaking with me. I have a wound that I will not escape. These Legionnaires sheltered me, but it is not enough." "I was on my way to Lomshir to deliver a message that might help bring peace to this troubled land when I was attacked. It is from a qaliathari of much rank." He coughs, and blood splatters. "Someone obviously didn't want it to arrive. Bring this letter to Horselord Tarqar, please." Horselord TarqarYou say, "Horselord Tarqar, you are a man of rank, but I need your time." Horselord Tarqar raises an eyebrow and asks, "What is it?" You nod and say, "I was given a message by a dying man out at the crossroads." "He begged me with his last breaths to give this to you," you say. "Who was this man?" ask Horselord Tarqar. "A qaliathari named Olmad," you say. "But he said the message came from a high ranking member of his people." "I believe that it is a proposition of some alliance," you say. "The expect us to ally with them?" asks Horselord Tarqar with a slight scoff. You shrug and say, "I haven't read the letter. It seemed to hurt him to speak, so all he told me was what little he could get out." "Hmph," says Horselord Tarqar, gazing at the letter. "I do not know that I should even bother reading it." You say, "What can it hurt to read it? Are you worried you might be influenced by the strength of its appeals?" Horselord Tarqar scoffs and says, "No. I simply think it will be a waste of my time." You shake your head and say, "Then you are choosing ignorance, which is not the mark of a good leader." Horselord Tarqar frowns and says, "I am not ignorant, nor do I chose to accept it." He rips the letter from your hand. Quest CompletionHorselord Tarqar says, "I do not know if we can work with the qaliathari, but it may be negotiated." "Times are desperate enough that ll options must be considered," he says stoically. ParleysHorselord Tarqar
