Game Description

Find Bilmar Stormbrew at the base of the mysterious statue, which can be found down a tunnel out of the main cave. The location has been marked on the map. Speak to him about the artifact.

Walkthrough

Bilmar Stormbrew is at the end of a long tunnel on the far side of the cave from Krellan (-12096, 33799, 91132). Watch out for the aggro mobs or you'll end up fighting your way to him. (Most are level 4.)

Return to Krellan Goldenhand for your reward.

Dialogue

Quest Offering

Krellan says, "I've been hearing whispers that the miners have unearthed something... a statue of some kind. The bosses have pushed the boys to keep working on their minign, but I'm not sure if everyone's happy about that. One of the miners has refused to do any work until they finish digging the statue out. His name is Bilmar Stormbrew."

"I'd like you to go speak to Bilmar about this artifact, because it would look suspicious if I did it. You can find him standing at the statue's base."

Bilmar Stormbrew

• "Alurad will surely bring his wrath down on us if we leave him buried like an old pick."
• Examining the statue, you ask, "Bilmar, what's going on here?"
• "Why, they won't let us finish carving this out, that's what!" growls Bilmar, hands balled together in tight fists.
• "I'm standing here in protest," he says, arms crossed, "and to make sure that nothing happens to it."
• "Why do you think something would happen to it?" you ask.
• "I don't know that something necessarily would," he admits, "but I won't dishonor Alurad by assuming something won't and let something happen!"
• "I that Alurad?" you ask, awed.
• "Yes," says Bilmar, nodding vigorously, "an ancient statue of him too, from the looks of it. This needs to be in our great hall."
• "Not buried in stone," he muttesr, jabbing his toe into the ground.
• "And so why is it still here?" you ask.
• "Because the Thunderaxes won't let us extract it!" he says, throwing his arms up in frustration. "Foreman Rille says they says we gotta keep digging."
• "I realize it's important to get the ore out, but this is important too," he says.
• "Seems to me they've got their priorities mixed up," he grumbles.

Krellan asks, "What? Alurad? You say it's a statue of Alurad?"

Krellan says, under his breath, "And those Thunderaxes won't stop long enough to unearth it?" Heresy..."
