Rochara Djereg is the Trackmaster of Dark Horse Track in Lomshir Plain. (-65278, 23103, 11323)
Erdur Talvari is the Blackmail Informant of Dark Horse Track in Lomshir Plain (-60308, 24830, 11318) to the East/South East of Rochara.
Hafeez Al'Azzimat is at the top of the Beacon of Hafeez al'Azzimat in The Temple of Dailuk to the South East of Dark Horse Track. (54814, -85142, 5148)
Dialogue
Quest Offering
Rochara says,"I don't want to get mixed up in this anymore. I run this track, and I have enough troubles of my own handling our debtors. You want my advice, though, you should find out where those mercenaries are going. From my experience, trouble travels in packs, so maybe along the way you will find your robes."
"If you want to know where they're going, there is only one person to ask, Erdur Talvari. He buys secrets, and sells them in turn."
Erdur Talvari
- You say, "Erdur, I hear you are one to see about secrets."
- He looks at you appraisingly and says, "I trade in secrets, yes. But if you're wanting one, it's going to either cost you coin, or more secrets."
- You nod and say, "I am trying to track the movements of two parties. Mercernaries belonging to Mineon Frenouran who seem to have been reassigned."
- "And a group of figures in robes tattooed with jackals who might be sacrificing horses for their twisted ends," you say.
- "The Cult of the Jackal," says Erdur. "That's who you're looking for."
- You ask, "Do the horses sound like something they would do?"
- "It sounds like their methodology," he says. "Creating panic and distrust."
- "And what about the mercenaries?" you ask. "Do you know what their new job is?"
- "Of course," he says, "but I already gave you something for free."
- "So you're wanting some kind of payment now?" you ask. "I am not sure what secrets I have that you sould be interested in."
- "You may not now," says Erdur, "but should you persue this mystery to its end, you may end up with one."
- "Oh?" you ask. "What is that?"
- "I believe that there is one force behind all of these events," he says "but I have not found out who yet."
- "If I tell you where to go next, you must promise to tell me where this trail leads you in the end," Erdur finishes.
- "I can swear to that," you say. "I don't owe any allegiane to one who would perpetrate such acts."
- "Then you should know that the mercenaries are being paid to attack the Beacon of Hafeez Al'Azzimat," he says. "Persue them there. Speak with Hafeez himself about these tidings."
- "Remember what you swore to me," he says, "or I may have to sell your secrets instead."
Quest Completion
Hafeeze listens as you explain and nods, saying, "I have picked up vague information about this attack, but nothing certain until now. Unfortunately, I do not know when or how it will take place."

He frowns and says, "One of the gnomes here thinks there is a spy among us, taking stock of our weaknesses and studying how to invalidate our strengths. We must find that spy."
"The Beacons cannot be allowed to fall," he says, " and whatever terrible plot this is a part of must be stopped."
