Game Description
Convince the Shapers of Zhal to pit one of their constructs against a sybarite obliterator, and win.
Walkthrough
Durzhal can be found at 6481, 1017, -16057 (in the same room as Magnate Gurz, southwest side). Convince Durzhal about "A Test of Flesh".
After Convincing Durzahl, return to Magnate Gurz and hail him to complete the quest.
Dialogue
Quest Offering
Magnate Gurz says, "Speak with the Shapers of Zhal, and present them with a challenge. I want to see what their feeble flesh constructs are capable of. I want to pit one of my guards against their creation. If their creation is victorious, then my concerns will be resolved. If it fails, then I see no value in their presence here."
Durzhal
- You say, "Know, Shaper, that I am <Player> and am representing the council of the kurashasa."
- Durzahl turns his head slightly, grinning his eternal grin. "I am Durzahl. I know of you, <Player>. My servitors are quite perceptive."
- You nod. "Indeed they are, Durzahl. I come with a message from Gurz, a Sybarite Royal Magnate."
- Durzahl chuckles raspily, his teeth clattering together. "Of course you do, he has expressed his displeasure of our presence here. I have been feeding off his misery but now grow tired of it."
- You say, "You seem to know a great many things, Durzahl. Perhaps Magnate Gurz's message will interest you then."
- Durzahl says, "If it does not, I have plenty of tasks at hand for the doing. The number of wounded left behind by the ahnd'ka has given me ample subjects to study and cherish."
- You wrinkle your nose ever so slightly at Durzhal's behavior. "Magnage Gurz proposes a contest to prove the strength of your flesh shaping art. He wants you to set one of your flesh constructs against one of his royal guard."
- Durzahl licks at his teeth with a blue tongue. "What a splendid opportunity! I shall relish the opportunity to witness a sybarite obliterator in combat. The carnage shall be exquisite."
- You say, "There is one caveat that I must stress, Durzahl."
- Durzahl clenches his teeth and looks near you. "Always a tail on the deal, isn't there? What is it then?"
- You say, "As a representative of the kurashasa, I greatly desire your flesh construct to be victorious against the obliterator - if at all possible."
- Durzahl laughs, raspy, again. "The kurashasa wish for my construct to defeat a sybarite obliterator?"
- You respond, "Is that not possible? I was under the impression that the art of flesh shaping was something to respect highly."
- Durzahl bites in your direction and says, "All that you have heard is correct."
- You ask, "They why are you concerned about the construct losing?"
- Durzahl says, "At no point did I fear that one of my creations would fail against an obliterator. If anything, I am merely worried the fight may not last long enough for me to truly enjoy it."
Quest Completion
You say, "Shaper Durzahl has agreed to your challenge. He seems quite confident that his art will prevail."
Magnate Gurz says, "We shall see."
