Quest Summary

Convince Fariba and Haftan to meet at the Snake Spit Tavern so that The Sand Lord can trap them.

Walkthrough

Go to Fariba Izadi in The Bloodied Sun Inn and Convince her to "Meet Tonight".

Go to Haftan the Black and Convince him to "Meet Tonight".

Return to The Sand Lord to complete the quest.

Dialogue

Quest Offering

The Sand Lord examines you and says, "If you chose to help me, convince Fariba and Haftan to hold a meeting at the Snake Spit Tavern. One Eyed Amin is a friend of mine and will help me see that their negotiations end this very night."

He sneers at you and says, "I understand if you refuse me. Of course, you should also understand why I will then have to hunt you down."

Fariba Izadi

Fariba eyes you and says, "You again?"

You nod and say, "I've been to speak with Haftan."

"And what does 'the Black' have to say?" she asks with a chuckle.

"He thinks this is the best course," you say. "Having the Sand Lord gone is too good of a prospect to ignore."

She claps her hands together and says, "I am almost giddy thinking of his demise."

"Yes..." you say, "well, he wishes to meet with you to negotiate the terms."

"Of course," she says, "not here though."

You shake your head and say, "No, at the Snake Spit Tavern."

She wrinkles her nose in disgust. "Ugh..." she says. "Can't we at least go to the Aukfruit?"

You shake your head and say, "You should meet somewhere where no one of any consequence will see you."

"True," she says with a sigh. "Very well. The Snake Spit it will be. I'll just bring a blanket to drape over the chair."

"Good," you say. "I'll let him know you've agreed."

Haftan the Black

You say, "Haftan, I've spoken with Fariba."

"My apologies," he says with a grin. "What did she have to say?"

"She is willing to consider this," you say. "She has offered her assassins."

"Wonderful," he says. "Anything else?"

"Only that she wishes to meet tonight to discuss terms," you say.

He nods and says, "I assume not at the Blood Sun."

You shake your head and say, "No, somewhere more discreet. The Snake Spit Tavern."

"Discreet," says Haftan raising an eyebrow, "certainly, but it can also be deadly."

"No one of any importance will see you there, however," you say. "And I am certain that both you and Fariba have nothing to fear from common cutthroats."

He nods and shrugs, saying, "Very well. The Snake Spit. Tonight."

"I will tell her you'll be there."

Quest Completion

The Sand Lord says, "They're meeting tonight?" He chuckles. "Very good."

[Continue]

"Ahgram's underground needs a single leader to unite behind," he says. "Namely me."
