Game Description

• Bury the Fresh Body
• Interrogate the Necromancer

Bury the body in the graveyard, then interrogate the necromancer who shows up. Return to Investigator Trenkle with a report.

Walkthrough

There is a clickable red ! object that looks like a dead woman in the Tursh Common Cemetary, 26014, 8240, 35613 in Tursh Village (-27, 27). When you activate the object (Bury the Fresh Body) it becomes a gravesite. The necromancer (Reggie Thornapple) will appear in a moment and walk to the gravesite. Then you can hail him to get the parley.

Dialogue

Quest Offering

You say, "Hail, Investigator Trenkle."

"I need you to find who this man is, raising all the dead." Trenkle says.

"We'll need to entice him into coming out. With so many people dying recently, I'm sure there's someone Caretaker Hugh hasn't gotten to yet. I want you to go out and bury that body, then watch it. I'm sure he'll come out."

Regie Thornapple, Necromancer

• "So," you ask, "you're pretty quick to mourn. Really quick in fact."
• "I just like to pay my respects in a timely manner," the halfling says. "Is that a crime?"
• "It is when you use restricted Academy materials to do it," you say.
• "Well, uh, I didn't know they were restricted," he says.
• "I'm sure that explanation will hold up well with the High Inquisitor," you say, "As long as you tell him who you're buying them from."
• "Look," he says, "nobody told me this was that bad."
• "You are, uh, turning the recently dead into zombies, " you say. "I would like to know, where in your head, that sounded like a perfectly good thing do."
• "There's a whole bunch of us, everywhere. I mean, the Three Rivers group is even bigger," he says. "It's not like these zombies are actually hurting anyone. They just mill about for a while."
• "They are zombies," you say. "Zombies. Say it out loud. Zombies."
• "And what's wrong with a zombie inherently? Too many people have your mindset. We're trying to show them that nonaggressive zombies are not inherently evil."
• "I...zombie man!" you shout. "You're making zombies, to help prove that the 'stupid' risen dead aren't evil. Just the 'evil' risen dead."
• "Yes," he says.
• "I would say you need help, but I don't think you'd understand."

Quest Completion

"I do hope you're returning so soon because the necromancer wasn't too bright."

"Well," Trenkle says smiling, "it would appear he wasn't." "I'll look into the issue with the halfling, but these people are in Three Rivers too. I'm going to need someone to look into them too."
