Starting City

The Half Elves are a race whose primary Racial Expression is Flattery (). They start their diplomatic career in Tanvu in southern Kojan.

To start to the Tutorials you must first find your Racial Diplomacy Tutor. In Tanvu that is Hido Kani Dawnstar who you will find in the House of Whispers (Loc: 22465, -25832, 3510). There is an optional pre-quest to meet Hido Kani Dawnstar, Learning Diplomacy, that you can obtain from Imperial Guard Hashi. Hail him to start the first quest, Becoming a Diplomat (Kojani Human) (the Half Elves and the Kojani Humans share the same tutorial questline).

Racial Expression

The Half Elf racial expression is Flattery.

Racial Cards

The Half Elves receive a racial specific card: Elven Unity.

Class Expression

Half elves can be a Bard (Flattery ), Blood Mage (Flattery ), Disciple (Reason ), Druid (Reason ), Monk (Reason ), Psionicist (Flattery ), Ranger (Reason ), Rogue (Flattery ), Sorcerer (Reason ) or Warrior (Demand ). (Note that Bard, Psionicist and Rogue are the only classes that match the Half Elf racial Expression of Flattery.) A match between race and class is NOT required to be a successfull diplomat, and can sometimes even limit you. But it pays to be aware of your strengths and weaknesses.
