Speak with the leader of the Cult of the Scorpions and try to find a way to stop the plans of the Emir and the Jackals.
Walkthrough
Find Cultleader Mika in the city of Ahgram (-30128, -19990, 1821) Waypoint provided
After winning the parley with Cultleader Mika - head to the Jakal's headquarters (waypoint provided) and find the note and the crate of supplies. Return to Mika for the next step.
After parleying with Mika, she will send you to disperse the cultists at the Scorpion ritual outside Ahgram (waypoint provided). You only need to talk to them to do this, no parleys required. Return to Mika to complete the quest.
Dialogue
Quest Offering
You think to yourself, "These Cultists don't only mean to bring about the end of an Empire. Their goal is the end of the worled. They must be the greatest threat."
"Though the other cult, the Cult of the Scorpion, may be similarly terrible to the Jackals, perhaps this rivalry they have is actually necessary to keeping them both in check. Afterall, they cannot make any progress if they spend all their time fighting one another."
"I should find this other Cult's Headquarters and speak with their leader."
Cultleader Mika
Your Cult's Safety
- You say, "Cultleader Mika, you are in charge of the Cult of the Scorpion?"
- She nods to you and says, "Are you drawn to the worship of the Scorpion?"
- You shake your head and say, "No. I am simply here to give you a warning."
- "Oh?" asks Mika, frowning. "What is that?"
- "The Cult of the Jackal is currently working with the Emir of Ahgram to bring about an end to your group," you say.
- She looks a little stunned. "But... the Jackals seek to bring about the end of any social order," she says. "Why would those in the palace seek to align with them?"
- You say, "The Emir seems to think he can control them, and that you are the greater threat."
- She chuckles and says, "Well, that is true." She studies you. "Why are you warning me?"
- "Because I don't believe the Emir knows what he is doing." you say. "I think this will get out of hand, quickly."
- "He is putting far too much power in their hands," you say.
- She nods and shrugs, saying, "I suppose I shouldn't question your generosity too far."
- You nod and say, "I don't know exactly what they're planning, but I think they plan to strike soon."
- She looks thoughtful and says, "I wonder if they plan to disrupt..." She glances at you. "... a ceremony we are having soon. Most all of the Scorpion's devotees will be there."
- You nod and say, "It sounds very likely."
- "Neither I nor any of mine can get anywhere near their headquarters," she says. "You, however, may be able to get in unharried." She glances you up and down. "Are you willing to go so far to stop them?"
- You say, "I believe very strongly that it is essential to the future of our world."
- "Then see what evidence you might be able to find around their headquarters of their activities," she says. "And bring it back to me."
Stop the Ritual
- You say, "Cultleader Mika, I think I may have found the information you were looking for."
- Cultleader Mika nods and says, "And? What did you find?"
- You say, "It appears they may have tampered with some of the components of your ritual."
- "Really?" she asks. "To what purpose?"
- "It is going to change the outcome of the ritual, though I am not exactly sure what it is going to do as I don't know the details of it," you say. "What is the purpose of the ritual?"
- She raises an eyebrow and says, "You expect me to tell you the details of our secret rites?"
- You say, "If you wish my help in deciphering what they are going to be doing, you should be open with me."
- "It suffices to say we are summoning up an aspect of the Scorpion," she says.
- She looks unsettled and says, "So much has already been put into motion. I must bing an end to it as soon as I can."
- You nod and say, "Then I suspect that the summoning will go wrong. You will summon either something else entirely, or the beast will turn on you."
- You ask, "Do you think you will be able to reverse the rite?"
- She says, "I hope to. If I fail, though..." She looks concerned.
- Gazing at you appraisingly, she says, "Can I ask you to do one more thing for me?" You nod. "Warn the others at the summoning circle to leave, in case we can't stop it."
- While you're at that, I will try to undo what has been done," she says.
Quest Completion
Mika says, "We couldn't stop the ritual... but most of our people got away."

She says, "Fortunately, I was able to subdue the spirit before it went wild."
She scowls. "Next time, it will be the Jackals who suffer such a defeat."
