Game Description

Drink the entire vial of poison and then speak with Izuul

• Test Your Blood

Walkthrough

You must parley with Izuul (Gate Keeper of Pankor Zhi) to be offered this quest.

When you accept the quest you will be given a bottle of Venom Bile Potion

Drink it slowly as you take a lot of damage with each drop you drink.

Once you have drunk all of the potion, hail Izuul again to complete the quest.

Dialogue

Izull

Izuul says, "You cannot enter, thin-blood."

You say, "But I am a diplomat, I require admitance into the great city of Pankor Zhi."

Izuul sneers, "Then you will make your deals in Hathor Zhi, with the rest of Telon's trash."

"This is blasphemy. This is madness," you say.

Izuul says, "Madness you say? This is Pankor Zhi, not Stiirhad."

"Your people would do well to recognise the power of those with blood different from your own," you reply.

"Any power your people might posses is only due to number. Like rats, you individually have little worth save as food for true predators," answers Izuul.

You say, "Is there no way to prove that my blood is strong, though I may not be of your kind?"

Izuul ponders this for a moment, "There is a method by which we separate slaves from citizens. Perhaps you aspire to be more than your station warrants?"

You say, "I have business in this city, I will do what is needed to make good on my word, despite any unforseen mishaps that may happen at these gates."

Izuul sneers, "Venom in your words? Well, perhaps you do have some fire in your veins after all."

"Enough idle talk Izuul," you begin. "What is your test?"

Izuul says, "Venom and bile."

You raise a brow, "Explain."

"If your blood is strong then you shall not die when you ingest this poison," Izuul smirks, "Admitedly I have never seen an outsider survive this test."

You nod, "Remember well this day then."

Quest Offering

Izuul smiles and reveals a small vial from within his sleeve, "Take this vial and drink its contents down. If your blood is strong then you will live, but if you possess the blood of a slave, then you shall certainly die, and amusement which I never tire of watching."

He smiles, "Should you survive, then we shall see about elevating you above your slave status, though I think you'd be of greater worth as food for the wyrms, or undead labor."

Izuul says, "A small token of advice. Drink it slowly."

Drink the Venom Bile Potion (1)

You feel the thick greenish liquid slide down your throat and immediately your insides start to burn. Dare you take another drink?

Drink the Venom Bile Potion (2)

You take another swig of the foul concoction. Your vision blurs and your head begins to spin. You can feel the life force leaving your body. You are amazed you are still alive, but there is still one last does of poison to drink."

Drink the Venom Bile Potion (3)

Feebly, you drink the last of the potion. Your blood is boiling! You feel weightless as the last of your life essence leaves your body. The world goes dark. Images flitter across your consciousness. Blood. Fire. Creation. Life. Instantly you open your eyes. You're weak, but you have survived.

Quest Completion

"You live", says Izuul, a look of amusement crossing his face.

"Perhaps there is some nobility in your blood after all," he says. "But you have not gained entry into our glorious city just yet."
